Coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the ever popular column in the Virginia Gazette, “Last Word: The Stage Show” combines improvisational comedy, music, video, and scripted scenes in a unique celebration of the Williamsburg community. Appropriate comedic mischief for the whole family, this interactive, live stage show brings the printed word to life. Based entirely off the anonymous submissions to the Virginia Gazette over the last three years, “Last Word: The Stage Show” is a satirical exploration of the often amusing comments, questions, and concerns of the Historic Triangle.

Kevin Flanagan (WM class of '06) is an alumni of I.T. (Improvisational Theatre), the College's ancient, venerable and prestigious improvisational performing vessel. He is currently a Ph.D. student in film studies/English at University of Pittsburgh. He specializes in the history of British cinema, film genres, and arts documentary. |
A graduate of the College (’04 B.A., ’08 M.Ed.), Joshua Lovell now resides in Baltimore working as a school counselor. His list of favorites include enjoying a sandwich or cup of coffee from a local establishment while sitting in the shade of the Wren courtyard, lazy afternoons spent on Jamestown Beach, a run through the historic area, a long drive on the parkway, and a pint or two at the delis. |
Kelley Quinn (W&M '09) is an alum of 7th Grade, the College's sketch comedy group. A current DC resident, she works for a government contracting company - an occupation so unique, it's almost unheard of in the DC area. She is the oldest of five children, and her passions include donuts, comedic writing, and most recently, cat-sitting. |
Adam Stackhouse (WM '04) is the owner/operator of 1693 Productions, a Williamsburg-based multimedia and live event production house. He has assembled video enjoyed by Queen Elizabeth II and Shigeru Miyamoto, leads ghost tours of Colonial Williamsburg, and played handbells as a teenager. |
